The Project

This was one of our very first bespoke Website Design projects and we still have a soft spot for it. When we visited the client we quickly understood the energy, creativity and excitement (and noise!) involved in running a children's nursery school. The real challenge was how to convey all that through a website...

Thinking outside the box, we created a series of "Popup" animal characters to work as an alternative to the usual (boring) website navigation tabs. We developed some custom java code so that the animals would pop up and bounce as if on a spring when you hover over them. We also gave them a company blog so that parents and kids could keep up with the latest news etc.

Needless to say, the website was a big hit with the kids and their parents 🙂
