How long does it take to build my website?

Speedypancake are pretty fast at building websites (hence the name).

I think our record is @ 4hrs from nothing to up and running which admittedly was a bit of rush job. More typically we aim to complete the design and development process within 2 to 4 weeks.

Truth is that if it takes longer than this, it's usually down to you (the client) not having your content ready, or having difficulty making decisions. "Organisations" are notorious for having a committee of people who simply must be consulted and agree every detail which can really hold things up and suck the fun and momentum out of any project.

That's why we much prefer to work with small businesses, with just one or two key people who know their business inside out and are as passionate about their products or services as we are here.

We do the design - you supply the content.
Your project will go a lot faster if you have considered the key pages and sections you require, and have your content (words & pictures) ready to go. We can point you in the right direction if you require library stock images, and are happy to tweak your copy if needed.

By the way, I think the record for the longest time taken to complete a website here was around 14 months... It always comes as a surprise when a client tells us they have more to think about than a "Stupid Website" 🙂
